A few changes we've shipped recently:

🏷️ Shops grouped by brand

A brand's different shopfronts (say amazon.co.uk and amzn.eu) now show under one merchant page instead of being scattered across several. The merchant leaderboard does the same now, so it ranks the whole brand rather than each domain on its own. And if you mute a shop, every shopfront that belongs to it goes with it.

🙈 Block moved to profiles

The block button has come off the deal menu. You'll now find it on a user's or a merchant's profile page, which is where most people went looking for it anyway.

⚡ Quicker deal posting

We pulled out a load of redundant code behind the link preview, so when you paste a link the title, price and images come back noticeably faster than they used to.

First post here - we'll log changes as we ship them. Recently:

🔗 Improved Deal Posting

• Vastly improved the accuracy of auto fetching a deal.
• Can now consistently pull in a deals: title, original / dela price, images etc.

🔔 Search alerts

• New Notify me button on any search.
• We'll email you when a matching deal lands and starts getting votes.

📬 Email digests

• Top deals delivered daily or weekly.
• Set the frequency, or turn it off, in Settings.

💬 Replies reach you now

• Get notified when someone replies to your comment or posts on one of your deals.
• In the app, and by email if you want it.

🔥 Trending, reworked

• Rebuilt scoring so the genuinely good deals climb faster.
• A wider mix of categories up top, instead of one shop taking over.

🙈 Mute shops you don't use

• Block any retailer to keep it out of your feed.
